In order to share your BikeTrax with your customers use the following steps for doing so.

When sharing your BikeTrax with your customer you remain the genuine owner. The customer is able to change the BikeTrax’s details like Passport content, etc. but not able to delete the tracker at all. When the customer deletes the BikeTrax in the app only the share is deleted and nothing more.

You can remove any invitation or share at any time in order to remove a user from your tracker.

1. Tracker sharing in app

Open the tracker’s settings page and open the page “Share tracker”:

2. Inviting a new user to this tracker

Tap action button in bottom right corner, this opens the dialog for inviting a user to this tracker:

Enter the user’s email address and tap “Save”

The invitation is now listed in the overview:

Tapping on the invitation allows to remove the invitation again:

It is possible to add multiple users to one tracker.

3. Invitation E-Mail

The user receives an E-Mail containing details and the invitation link:

Once the user opens the link either

  • the App Store opens and asks the user to install the PowUnity app and then

  • the PowUnity App opens and asks if they want to accept the share

4. Invitation accepted and removing shares

Once the user installed and accepted the invitation the BikeTrax owner receives an E-Mail stating that the invitation has been accepted:

Also the the shared user is now visible in the screen “Share device”:

Tapping the share allows to remove the shared user again from the shares:
